Dysport El Paso
Dysport in El Paso is a new cosmetic product that may be just what the doctor ordered if you want to eliminate frown lines and other stubborn wrinkles. El Paso Dysport is a botulinum toxin based injectable product that treats dynamic wrinkles, those lines and folds that occur as a result of facial expressions, such as frowning and smiling.
Dysport is a new product, introduced in the spring of 2009, and was developed to compete with the highly popular Botox product.
The product is derived from botulinum toxin, and works by blocking nerve signals that direct facial muscles to contract during facial expressions. Since those muscles are unable to contract, the lines and folds that they would cause cannot form as a result. Crows feet and frown lines, also called glabellar lines or folds, are the most popular treatment areas, but El Paso Dysport can be used to treat any dynamic wrinkle.
Most treatment sessions take from 15 minutes to a half an hour to perform, and procedures are performed as an outpatient treatment. To minimize potential discomfort, your El Paso Dysport specialist may numb the injection site prior to your treatment session.
Once the treatment area is numb, your El Paso Dysport specialist will inject a tiny amount of the product beneath the skin and into the muscle. You might experience some slight, temporary redness or swelling following your El Paso Dysport treatment, but these side effects will disappear soon after treatment.
Most treatments vary in cost, based on the size of the area being treated, but generally range from $300 to $500 per session.
